November

Out in the cold air for a day. I hoped to find more mushrooms, but we had terrible storms last week and everything was covered with a thick carpet of leaves. Orange light, especially in the pond area where cypresses are just spectacular! Everywhere big chunks of wood with lichens. I came back with a box full of subjects to paint, as usual. I noticed that specimens are starting to take so much space! All over my studio, half of my frige, a huge box in my garage. Do you have any system for storing and catalogue them?
